Colorful Toasts Hijack is a project for the kiddies between 3 and 5 years old. 

It is inspired by the work of the Artist Brittany Powel drawing on toasts.

The first step consists of a sensory tasting of fruits, veggies and different breads, following by the description of everything, focusing on the vocabulary of the sensations.

 

Then, we learn how to use a toaster in the class room. The smell of the toast gives a warm atmosphere to the classroom. 

 

During the art & craft activity, we focus on the use of forks, knives and spoons for the developement of fine motor skills such as drawing patterns, spreading cream on the toast.

The result is a colorful set of more than 100 toasts with amazing patterns.
